JAX Chamber Foundation Funds:

Community Leadership

The JAX Chamber Foundation develops tomorrow’s leaders today with programs such as Leadership Matters and ImpactJAX. Our programs prepare leaders for roles that bring positive change to Northeast Florida.

John Delaney

With numerous universities and colleges, we are graduating a significant number of students who want to stay in this area. These programs help prepare the younger generation to become our future leaders in the region. It is a truly worthy cause to support, and I encourage more people to get involved.

John Delaney, President

Downtown’s New Front Door

Downtown’s New Front Door

Every top tier city in the country shares one important characteristic – a vibrant, thriving downtown that is nurturing to local businesses, large and small and the community at large.

In the spirit of community leadership, the JAX Chamber launched the Downtown’s New Front Door project in fall, 2012. The project sets a positive example for downtown development and revitalization, serving all of Northeast Florida. Downtown’s New Front Door is more than a building project. The redesign of the entire property encourages pedestrian activity and more easily connects Downtown businesses.

Features of Downtown’s New Front Door include cutting edge technology, environmental sustainability, and a shining example of what downtown Jacksonville can and will be. The addition of the international flag plaza, recognizes the nearly 100 companies, representing 21 countries, doing business in our region and strengthens Jacksonville’s place on the global stage. Projects like the pocket park, adjacent to the revamped parking area, make JAX Chamber a people/pedestrian friendly downtown destination both before and after events and activities in our urban core.

Innovative interior work and meeting spaces serve the thousands of JAX Chamber members and the community, who visit the Chamber each month. Collaborative areas enable members to brainstorm new ideas, host interactive meetings and conduct engaging workshops. Sustainable features throughout the property reduce the Chamber’s impact on natural resources ensuring Jacksonville is a great place for future generations.

The JAX Chamber has raised over $3 million toward its cash budget of $3.5 million. Naming opportunities are still available.
