The Jacksonville Women’s Business Center’s business mentoring programs are open to any woman entrepreneur who meets the specific criteria for that particular program, is preparing to open a business or who operates an established business located in one of the seven counties in Northeast Florida: Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau, Flagler, St. Johns or Putnam.  Enrollment dates and links to register online for current program enrollments are on the main landing page – Partial scholarships and payment schedules are available.

Entrepreneur Certificate Program

Trough the completion of the Entrepreneur Certificate Program, participants will master the tactics to streamline business processes, learn how to build brand awareness, and how to leverage their value for better customer acquisition and retention. As a result, participants will enhance the overall value of their business and themselves.

Venture Leadership

A transformational program that develops image, influence and power among women leaders, by delivering knowledge with mentoring support.  Presented in collaboration the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center and  the JAX Chamber Foundation’s women’s initiative.

Customer Development

Through the process of discovery, testing, validation and execution, participants will learn about their potential customers, what those customers want, and how to provide more value to those customers.

Financial Matters℠

Links a woman business owner with an accountant and a financial expert for six months to improve management and business decisions.

Marketing Matters℠

Links a woman business owner with a two-member mentoring team of marketing and public relations professionals for six months to develop marketing strategies for her business.

Peer Pitch

This interactive mentoring will help entrepreneurs gain relationship access and practice pitching their business. During the session, you get four minutes to pitch your business with a PowerPoint and then receive immediate peer-to-peer feedback and provider feedback.

Links accomplished women business owners with a panel of unpaid advisers for a year to meet business goals and objectives. Entry into the program requires a rigorous three-step application process.

The Women’s Business Center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration and the JAX Chamber Foundation.
